Delete your account
You can delete your Thaqafa account and the personal data linked to it at any time. There are two ways.
Option 1 — from inside the app (instant)
- Open Thaqafa and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings (the gear icon on the Home or Profile screen).
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Option 2 — by email
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, send an email to support@fikra.pro with the subject "Delete my Thaqafa account" and include:
- the username or email address on the account, and
- whether you signed in with email, Google or Apple.
For your protection we may reply to confirm the request from the email address on the account. We process deletion requests within 7 days and will confirm by email when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email, username, display name, avatar and sign-in link (Google/Apple).
- All gameplay data: scores, XP, level, coins, hints, streaks, achievements, daily-challenge and multiplayer history.
- Your entries on leaderboards.
- Your push-notification token.
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing personal is kept in our live systems after deletion. Encrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 90 days before they are rotated.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics (for example "how many players answered this question correctly") are not linked to you and are kept.
- Purchase records held by Google Play or Apple are governed by their policies; deleting your Thaqafa account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account to stop future charges.
Deletion is permanent. Progress, coins and achievements cannot be restored afterwards, even if you create a new account with the same email.
