Terms of Use
By downloading or using Thaqafa ("the app") you agree to these terms. The app is provided by Abdallah Moukdad ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use the app
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything that happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
- Usernames and display names must not be offensive, impersonate others, or infringe anyone's rights. We may change or remove names that break this rule.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app settings or via our account deletion page.
3. Fair play
Thaqafa is a game, and games are only fun when they are fair. You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, modified clients, or any automated means to play or gain an advantage;
- exploit bugs, tamper with scores, coins, hints or match results, or interfere with other players' games;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players;
- reverse-engineer the app or attempt to access our servers other than through the app;
- copy, scrape or redistribute our question content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and remove affected scores from leaderboards.
4. Coins, hints and other virtual items
Coins, hints, XP, levels and achievements are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or refunded. We may adjust their balance, availability or effect to keep the game balanced.
5. Premium subscription
- Premium removes ads. It is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and again at the start of each renewal period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- You manage and cancel the subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings — not inside the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it expires.
- Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Prices may vary by country and may change; you will be notified before any change affects you.
6. Content and intellectual property
The app, its design, code, artwork, characters and question database are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own entertainment. Qur'anic verses and Hadith texts quoted in questions remain in the public domain; our selection, wording and arrangement of questions are our own work.
If you believe any content in the app contains an error — especially in religious questions — please tell us at support@fikra.pro. We review every report.
7. Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, categories or questions, and may interrupt the service for maintenance. We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, particularly for online features such as multiplayer and leaderboards.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". Question content is prepared carefully but is offered for entertainment and general learning, not as a religious ruling, legal, medical or professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the app. Sections 4, 6, 8 and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have under the laws of your own country.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
